Terms of use

The Supper Bell lists recipes published by food blogs and sends you to the publisher's own page to cook them. We don't own the recipes, we don't write the instructions, and instruction steps are never stored or shown here — see /crawler for exactly what we keep and how we crawl.

Don't use the site to:

• Scrape, systematically copy, or resell our index of recipes.
• Automate requests against the site outside normal browsing — if you're a publisher checking your own logs, /crawler explains how our own crawler behaves and how to stop it.
• Abuse the sign-in, pantry, shopping list or submission features — scripted account creation, spammed takedown requests, or (once it launches) a video submission that isn't your own content.

You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for anything done from your account. Tell us at admin@thesupperbell.com if you think someone else has access to it. We can suspend or close an account that abuses the service or these terms.

Ingredients, nutrition figures, ratings and tags come from each publisher's own page markup. We display what they publish; we don't independently verify it. Always check a recipe against your own dietary needs and allergies before you cook it — we make no warranty that any recipe, nutrition figure or allergen note is complete or accurate.

If you publish recipes we index and want a page or your whole site removed, see /crawler for how we crawl, how to block us, and the takedown form. Every request is reviewed by a person; nothing happens automatically from the form alone.

When these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and describe the change here.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
